Slim are probably the most annoying mob at the beginning of the game because there are so many of them. At least that means Gel wont be a problem. Slim also have a chance to carry items, you can see if they are carrying something because it will show through their illusive body. My favorite items they can carry would have to either be Ore or the Spelunker potion.
